Applied Statistics

Objective: The objective was to generate data set of linear measurement, calculate the mean, mode, median and range of data set and create a histogram of recorded measurements showing class interval frequency.

Puzzle Cube

Objectives:
- Brainstorm and sketch possible solutions to an exsisting design process.
- Select an approach that meets or satisfies the constraits given in a design brief.
- Create simple extruded solid Computer Aided Design (CAD) models from dimensional sketches.

Brainstorming

These are pictures of the drawing we did to brainstorm on what we wanted the pieces of the cube to look like.

Model or Prototype

The picture to the left is a picture of all the pieces to the cube. Then the picture to the right is a picture of the all the pieces together.

This is my Puzzle Cube package. I named it fun cube and there is a picture on top of the box of a cube.

Sketch Techniques

During these classes, we had to sketch out drawings and know each of the sides and designs.

History of Measurement

For this project, we had to work with a partner. One person did a power point of the History of Measurement. The other person made a cover for either a CD Case or Book Case. I worked on the power point.

Cell Phone PowerPoint

For this project, we had to make a power point of an invention that has been inovated. My partner and i like cell phones so we decided ti do out presentation on this invention. Over the years the cell phone has become more useful and interesting. From an old ugly one to a nice one either with or without touch screen.

Innovating a Beverage Container

For this project, we had to innovate a cup. We worked with partners and came up with new ideas how tp make the cup better for the users. At the end of the day, we had to present our cup to the class and see what they thought of it.
